The big red book, Canal House Cooks Every Day. It’s a year of cooking from Canal House, based on the popular daily lunch blog, Canal House Cooks Lunch. It’s a handsome 385-page book with a classic red cloth cover and nearly 250 new recipes and more than 130 photographs and illustrations. It’s pure Canal House. We were honored to have Christopher Hirsheimer and Melissa Hamilton teach a recent cooking class here at Los Poblanos. In addition to being the founders of Canal House, Hirsheimer was a founder of Saveur and her photographs have appeared in Food & Wine, Country Home, Metropolitan Home and Town and Country.
