As one of the premiere historic properties in the southwest, Los Poblanos is a unique place to hold both social and business events. Our Cultural Center is a magnificent building of important architectural significance surrounded by six acres of lush formal gardens. From a small breakfast meeting to an extravagant black-tie affair, Los Poblanos has the versatility to make any event a memorable one.

Los Poblanos Dining
Los Poblanos cuisine is rooted in what comes from our own farm as well as the region. Our food wanders the line between refined and rugged, borrowing from both haute cuisine and the foods indigenous to New Mexico's Rio Grande River Valley. Los Poblanos often does away with menus in favor of multi-course farm feasts inspired by the day's harvest. For guests attending a meeting, retreat, party, or wedding, it is a private dining experience where the cuisine and ambiance reflect the chef's aesthetic and farm's long established relationships with local farmers.

Meetings & Retreats
Los Poblanos is the ideal spot to hold productive meetings for your company or organization. Our meeting room is wireless and we can provide you with all your audio visual needs. Our clients include Intel, Wells Fargo, Bohannan Huston, UNM, The Wilderness Society and Sandia National Laboratories.

Parties & Cocktail Receptions
With a ballroom dance floor of oak parquet wood floors and four sets of French doors that allow guests to spill out into the gardens, Los Poblanos provides a stunning setting for a cocktail party. During the winter months, both indoor and outdoor spaces have dramatic oversized wood burning fireplace that create an ambiance unmatched by other venues in Albuquerque.

Corporate Events
In addition to business meetings and board retreats, Los Poblanos is also ideal for other types of corporate events. Some examples are business seminars, sales lunches, team building, and promotional sales events.

About Our Event Staff
At Los Poblanos, we provide an experience that is unique to our location. Our team works hard to ensure that your event is perfect and enjoyable.

Chef Jonathan Perno
A native New Mexican, Jonathan trained at the California Culinary Academy and spent time at Postrio under Wolfgang Puck, Splendido and Alain Rondelli in San Francisco, Sweet Basil in Vail, Colorado, Splendido at The Château in Beaver Creek, Colorado, and Metropolitan in Salt Lake City, Utah. His résumé also includes the requisite European culinary tour, a return visit to work at La Tante Claire in London. In addition, he spent a year in Berkley, California at an organic farm learning raised bed farming.

Jonathan is the perfect fit for Los Poblanos. His first few months here found him doing everything from harvesting honey from our bees for his homemade chocolates to preparing a 6-course chef's meal for an anniverary dinner for 75. He is a strong advocate of the Farm to Table philosophy and the Slow Food Movement. While he's absolutely content to let the fresh ingredients take all the credit, Jonathan has already impressed the most critical of foodies with his own unique perspective on food.
