Meet the Farmer Classes
Join our farmers for a series of classes instructing on simple gardening techniques, propagation, seed starting and handy tips and tricks to try in your own garden. The class topics change monthly, and sometimes feature other guest farmers. Reserve your spot today, and get ready to stretch that green thumb!
Aromatherapy and Herbal Wellness
These workshops are led by one of our two expert teachers. Connie Henry is is a Doctor of Naturopathy, Certified Professional Herbalist & is Board Certified as a Holistic Health Practitioner. Christa Obuchowski is a certified aromatherapist and founder of the Aroma Botanica Institute in Sante Fe. Please check our events calender for different workshops each month. These are hands on, learning classes, and most are free for Inn Guests.
Sweater Girls Knitting Club at Los Poblanos
More experienced knitters are encouraged to join and have fun knitting at one of the loveliest spots in Albuquerque. As our club develops, we will focus on monthly projects and bring in local crafters to talk about their art. These classes are free to guests of the Inn.
Barnyard Animals 101
Join Farmer Christine and her family at the Barnyard every Saturday for a quick class on raising hens, pigs, dairy goats, ducks, cows and more! Feed a baby goat in the Spring, milk a goat or just help with general barnyard chores. Check the events schedule regularly as some classes just focus on a particular skill or animal. Classes are offered daily for Inn guests, and a $10 donation is suggested to help with the cost of animal food. If you are not a guest of the Inn, Barnyard Animals 101 is available the first Saturday of each month.
