What better setting to learn the art of drawing and painting in the field? Directed towards design professionals (architects, landscape architects, planners, designers and artists) as well as those interested in travel or leisure sketching, courses taught at Los Poblanos will focus on one subject at a time, allowing students to select which skills they most want to develop. Classes will be limited to 6-12 students where students can experience one-on-one instruction from the extensive and complementary experience of two instructors per course, primarily architects Karin Pitman and Terrance Brown.
Watercolor Basics This course will cover the basics of color theory as well as various watercolor painting techniques. Directed towards both the beginning artist, and those who have not used watercolor before.
Class fee: $100 per person, option to add on a watercolor travel painting set. Class will be held from 1:30pm - 5pm, with the option of adding on dinner reservations after the class. Please wear comfortable shoes and sun protection - parts of the class will be held outdoors during field sketching.
