Meet the Farmer: Lavender

Date: April 6, 2013

Start Time: 10:00 am
End Time: 12:00 pm

This farmer-hosted program instructs on ways to raise our favorite plant – lavender! Learn how to propagate from cuttings, transplanting, and taking care of established plants. We will be propagating lavender starts all spring in our greenhouse, getting ready for the season. Our artisan farmers will start the class in the historic Greenhouse, and then lead a short tour of the lavender fields. Guests take home an information sheet on how to care for lavender, as well as a new plant.
$15 for members of the public, free for Inn Guests. Advance registration required.
